Every order is important to us; we earnestly endeavor to please every customer with beautiful flowers and provide superior customer service. Knowing that flowers are a perishable natural product and that floral arrangements and floral gifts are hand made, we make every effort to fortify our floral products and ensure the quality, accuracy and beauty of our work. Many variables determine whether a flower will last as long as anticipated or whether a designer has created something which you will enjoy. Because we constantly seek ways to bring some of these variables under our control for improved floral performance, we welcome your comments and inquiries.
Approved Commercial and House Accounts
We offer many options for delivery and we deliver to the entire Twin Cities Metro Area. To simplify our delivery rates the following 3 options apply in MOST cases.
Exceptions include timed deliveries, early morning or late evening, special handling, overweight or long distance or one off delivery. Set up for large events and weddings may have additional charges.
Standard Delivery: In most cases orders received before 12:00 pm (Noon) in the recipient's time zone to are considered same-day delivery. We make every effort to get your order out same day however orders received after that time and opted for Standard delivery will be delivered the following day.
Late Same Day Delivery: If you place an order after 12Pm (Noon) there is a additional Late Same Day Delivery fee of an additional $10.00. If you do not select this option and opt for Standard delivery - your delivery will automatically be sent the next available delivery day.
Sunday Delivery: Considered a premium option there is an additional $10.00 for Sunday deliveries. This is the case for MOST of the Twin Cities Metro area however we are not able to accommodate some outlying suburbs and communities. Unfortunately our website is not able to cut off our normal delivery range for just one day of the week therefore every attempt will be made to contacted you in the event we cannot deliver in your area on Sunday.
If you opt for Standard Delivery on Sunday- it will automatically be delivered the next available Standard delivery slot. (Monday)
We always strive to do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee any specific timed deliveries without sending by a special courier. This is a premium service and a additional charges will apply.
Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed. There is a Placement fee required in addition to delivery charges for some cemeteries. Please contact us regarding the fee as it varies per cemetery.
We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. However we are unable to accept international orders online. A special relay charge applies.
If no one is home
Depending on the delivery location, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return, such as with a neighbor, or leave a message for the recipient to call to arrange for delivery.
If the recipient's address is incorrect and delivery was attempted to the address, there is a $15 address correction fee. Soderberg’s Floral & Gifts is not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses submitted to us by the customer. If such a delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.
These orders are our very highest priority. If you have ordered too late to make the funeral service we will call to let you know quickly so that you can make other arrangements or have something sent to the home of the family. If you do not know the zip code or exact address of the funeral home we will look it up for you. We normally contact the funeral home to verify the time of the viewing and make arrangements for the flower delivery. If you have selected a delivery date that is before the actual viewing we will deliver to the viewing per the funeral home instructions. Depending on time of service we may elect to deliver a day early to a church or funeral home. If you have ordered for a funeral viewing on Sunday and it is too late to deliver on Saturday or Sunday, we will contact the funeral home to verify that there is a viewing or service on Monday and reschedule the order.
High schools do not accept deliveries for students. Please send teacher's gifts to the high school and any student orders to their residence. Orders to high schools should be placed early because they usually must be received by 2pm.
Weekend Delivery Policy
Sunday Delivery does not include the entire Metro area. Distant suburbs will be a extra charge. Sunday delivery's often times are made by Uber, Door Dash or courier therefore we must verify that someone will be home to accept delivery's. Apartment buildings and hospital delivery's are not always possible. If we are unable to arrange for delivery on Sunday and time permits we will setup for delivery on Saturday, including Birthday and Anniversaries. If Saturday or Sunday is not available, then the order will be scheduled for Monday and we will do our best to inform you of the rescheduling.
We are unable to deliver flowers to a P.O. Box or an A.P.O. addresses.

If such a delivery is left and permission was given to leave at door step, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.

In some cases, the florist may contact the recipient to ensure s/he will be home to accept the delivery.
Request to leave item at door
The customer assumes all liability for requests to leave arrangements. We highly discourage special instructions requesting delivery to a doorstep, porch, yard or any location where the recipient cannot accept the arrangement themselves. Soderberg’s Floral & Gifts cannot be held responsible for missing or faulty product due to this special request.
Recipient refusal of delivery
If the recipient refuses to accept a delivery, you are held fully liable for the cost of the order and delivery attempt.
For years we have tried to determine the best way to deal with requests to send flowers anonymously (no signature on greeting card). Many florists refuse to send deliveries anonymously. But in an effort to satisfy our customer's wishes we have continued to allow this practice. Almost always the recipient calls us to find out who sent them. Due to issues with stalkers and over zealous suitors people take this anonymous gesture very seriously. In the spirit of expressing emotions with flowers, we do our best to make this a positive situation instead of some thing that could weigh on the recipient's mind or even torment them. So we will divulge the senders name, address and phone to ease the recipient's mind. By ordering from us you agree to this policy.
The message that you write in the Card Message field is the message that is sent with the gift. Miss spellings or grammar are not the responsibly of Soderberg's. Every order is sent a confirmation by email and we can make corrections before the package has left on delivery. We will NOT contact drivers to change card messages after the package has left our facility. We do not include any billing information with your order.
Taxes & Pricing
Minnesota and local sales tax are applied to every order unless you submit a tax exempt certificate and number prior to delivery. Sales tax will not be changed after package has left the facility.
Every Effort is made to deliver on your expectations but substitution is necessary at time. Please remember all of our items are made custom and by hand - slight variations will be present.
At Soderberg’s Floral & Gifts we are committed to delivering your important emotional sentiments on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value. We will make every effort to maintain the "look and feel" of the arrangement by considering the overall shape, size, style, and color combinations. In single-variety arrangements the variety will take precedence over color. For instance, if an order is for yellow daisies, they will substitute another color of daisies, not another yellow flower. White roses and cream roses may be substituted for each other as well as peach roses and pink roses. Purple and pink orchids may need to be substituted for white orchids and visa versa.
All hospitals and most public buildings do not allow latex balloons. Mylar balloons may need to be substituted for latex balloons on some orders however Mylar does cost more therefor you my have less balloons than expect delivered.
For green and blooming plants, similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value. For one-of-a-kind plants, such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type, but may substitute with another color. Containers for plants may be substituted from the photo and we will select on that is as close as possible.
Substitutions within a basket may be made with items of greater or equal value if necessary to guarantee freshness and timely delivery.
Substitutions for Special Occasions
Due to the importance of delivering orders for special occasions, such as funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries, on specific days, we may make a substitution of equal or greater value to ensure timely delivery. If the flowers you requested are not available, will make every effort to contact you via the phone number(s) or email address you provided us.
Giftware and Non Perishables Return Policy
To be eligible for a refund, you must return the product within 14 calendar days of receiving your product. Customer pays for return shipping. The product must be in the same condition that you received it and undamaged in any way.
After we receive your item, our team of professionals will inspect it and process your refund. When returning a product to our shelves, Soderberg’s charges a 25% restocking fee and original shipping charge. After the restocking fee is determined, the remaining money will be refunded to the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.
If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 14 calendar days have passed after receiving the product, you will not be eligible for a refund.
